As everyone knows the area of the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula is one of the best places in the country for fishing. There is also a community of fishermen that offers all kind of services.
Sapoa Adventures offers one step up into the fishing experience. We only use the best boats, up to day with insurance as well as tax and safety laws. We also include a local guide that is bilingual and has great knowledge on the history of the fishing town and the marine life.

Important Information
We offer 3 different private experiences, 2 onshore fishing and 1 full day experience.
The standard inshore includes 3 hours fishing, water, one fruit and our team of experts: our guide and captain.
The deluxe inshore experience consists of 4 hours fishing, assortment of drinks and fruits and off course our team of experts.
The offshore fishing is a full day in the water, drinks and snacks wont be a problem as well as few beers and including a nice sandwich or its equivalent for a light cold lunch. Feel free to bring anything else that you want, more beer or snacks, as you will spend much of the daylight in the water.
Having the time of a full day we will adventure a few dozen miles into the open ocean, looking for pelagic species of game fish. Species of marlin, sailfish, Yellow-fin Tuna and some species of grouper will be the target. In general we respect all the conservation practices, marlins, sailfish are catch and release only. Other fishes will be evaluated regarding size and another variables.
Casting, trolling, jigging, life bait, etc. will be always available, as well as the best and most up to date equipment possible. That and decades of continuously fishing in the area will provide great chances for you to catch dinner, learn about conservation, history and have the best fishing experience in the area, guaranteed.
